Rolling back the years! Double act reignite play-off hopes in 2016

A significant win for Wimbledon from four years ago

With no live games to watch, it's well worth two minutes of your time to relive a memorable Wimbledon victory from four years ago!

Before heading to Wycombe Wanderers on 2 April 2016, The Dons were outside the League 2 play-off zone and needing a win to keep promotion hopes alive. That's exactly what Neal Ardley's boys got with the double-act of Lyle Taylor and Tom Elliott terrorising Wycombe's defence.

Taylor scored both goals in the 2-1 win at Adams Park to reignite Wimbledon's charge towards Wembley, but afterwards he said that strike partner Elliott's contribution was 'immense'. Of course, Wimbledon's relentless march to Wembley was ultimately successful, as Plymouth were swept aside on 30 May 2016.

Take a look below at the highlights from that Wycombe game and Lyle's thoughts on the victory afterwards.
