AFC Wimbledon’s first midweek league game in English Football League One is against Scunthorpe United on Tuesday 16 August (7.45 pm kick-off) and tickets are on sale for this game.

The last time Scunthorpe visited the Cherry Red Records Stadium was almost three years ago when Wimbledon triumphed 3-2 with a dramatic winner from substitute Chris Arthur.

Scunthorpe United have announced that they will be beaming back the match live to their own supporters at Glanford Park.
Taking into consideration the distance its supporters will be challenged to travel in the opening weeks of the season, Scunthorpe felt it was a service worth providing. A live HD stream will therefore be delivered to displays at Glanford Park with the club using the only official EFL live away match feed service.
It will be the first of its kind that Scunthorpe has got involved in, but following communication with AFC Wimbledon, it is one that both clubs are keen to explore.
