Advent calendar features the glory against St Albans
Our AFC Wimbledon advent calendar today features the club’s crowning glory as Conference South title winners.
A 3-0 victory against St Albans officially confirmed title success and it had a fairytale ending for captain Jason Goodliffe as he scored the final goal in his last Dons appearance.
It’s worth looking back on just to hear the noise from our home fans – the attendance was 4,690 at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

Recalling a proud day for him and the club, Jason Goodliffe said: “I can remember lifting the trophy and my young lad being on the pitch. It was a great feeling, but I remember Luke Garrard spraying Champagne in my face from about a yard away and I couldn’t see for a bit!”
