Fan power wins again

Campaign target smashed

AFC Wimbledon supporters again showed the effectiveness of fan power last night, as the War Child and AFC Wimbledon Foundation campaign smashed through a significant number.

The pre order figure of 500 earphones was reached comfortably before midnight last night with days to spare, following a steady increase of sales during the day.

It doesn’t stop there though! Organisers are now hoping to see just how far campaign sales will go in the time remaining and the difference your support could make.

England cricketer and AFC Wimbledon fan Mark Wood and former Wimbledon defender John Scales added their support to that of AFC Wimbledon manager Neal Ardley, goalkeeper James Shea, captain Barry Fuller and strikers Ade Azeez and Bayo Akinfenwa as Dons fans rallied to back two great causes.
