Neal reveals cup plans

Hussey among several first-teamers involved tomorrow

Neal Ardley will select a strong side for tomorrow night’s Surrey Senior Cup tie against Horley Town with Chris Hussey among the players set to feature.

The left-back (pictured), who was back in a Wimbledon shirt as a second-half substitute in Saturday’s 2-2 draw against Wycombe Wanderers, is likely to play for an hour with manager Neal Ardley eager to get more game-time into Hussey as he has not completed 90 minutes since 23 October.

Sammy Moore, Byron Harrison, Jim Fenlon, Brendan Kiernan, Pim Balkestein and Jason Prior are among other first-teamers pencilled in for the Surrey Senior Cup third round tie against Combined Counties Premier side Horley Town at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

Neal Ardley said: “It offers us an opportunity to get an hour in for Chris, but there are a few players who also need more game-time. It will be quite a strong side as we need to get more players up to speed with a busy February of games coming up.”

Tomorrow night’s scheduled match, weather permitting, is a 7.45pm kick-off with admission prices for adults at just £5 and £2 for children.
