Season tickets hit the mark

29 July 2015

Excitement builds ahead of 2015/16

Season Ticket sales have surpassed the amount sold at this stage last summer and supporters should receive their tickets by the weekend.

With just 10 days until 2015/16 gets underway, a dedicated team of volunteers have been arranging season ticket booklets and getting them ready to be sent out to fans.

A total of 2,530 season tickets have so far been sold, but we still have availability to guarantee your place at all 23 Sky Bet League 2 home games for next season. The Paul Strank Stand is sold out, but there are still seat ST tickets remaining in the first two rows of the John Green Stand (formerly North Stand), and availability in the Chemflow End and Your Golf Travel terrace.

Mike Berry, who carries out a vital role at the club by auditing season ticket payments from supporters, said that season ticket sales had surpassed expectations and he praised volunteers for their efforts in the last two days.

“Season ticket sales are a reflection of the positive vibes around the club at the moment,” said Mike. “With 10 days to go we are still getting applications for season tickets. A total of 2,000 season tickets were sent out yesterday and the rest will be sent out today. Supporters should have them by the weekend with a week to go until the season.

“Our volunteers have been fantastic. We had 12 this year and they really got stuck in. It is a manual job, but it needs to be done very accurately. It involves a lot of sorting out inserts for the ST booklets into the correct envelopes. There is a lot of double-checking to ensure there are no mistakes.

“We have had a team in place doing this for a few years now and the atmosphere is great. They all do it with smiles on their faces even though there is a lot of work to do.”

The club wishes to thank all those volunteers who have helped out with the delivery of season tickets.
