The Modfathers on stage
It promises to be a hugely entertaining end to a special AFC Wimbledon event on Saturday when The Modfathers take to the stage.
After a full day of celebrations for Simon Bassey's testimonial, the renowned Paul Weller tribute act will bring the house down with a musical flourish at Kingsmeadow Live. As well as reliving the days when Weller fronted The Jam, there is sure to be laughs-a-plenty for the audience as Bass has promised to sing "Town Called Malice". A total of 15 former Wimbledon players are pencilled in for Simon's exhibition match on Saturday and a few of them will hopefully stick around to enjoy the live music with supporters.
