Dan Ageyi seals victory against Dagenham

has urged his youngsters to repeat Saturday’s performance on a regular basis after the Under-18s bounced back to form with an impressive victory at Dagenham & Redbridge.Mark Robinson

Mark Robinson said: “I am really pleased that the boys have got a win. We really took the game to them in the first-half and always looked likely to score goals. We still have so much more to give though in terms of the possession football that we try to play. I know that we can control the tempo of games even more and we need to recognise when a door has been closed and keep the ball better.

“I now expect the same attitude and commitment this week in training as we look to build on this performance both individually and collectively. We were never a bad side during our poor spell of results and we’re not now where we need to be because of one result. We are a very young group with huge potential and that will only be fulfilled if they consistently carry out the demands put on them both on and off the pitch.”
