Save the date for a Saturday Showcase outside the football season that’s sure to provide entertainment and laughs-a-plenty in abundance.
On 8 June from 7.30 pm at the Cherry Red Records Stadium we’ll be joined by one of the biggest football personalities of recent times and a character who has constantly attracted headlines during a managerial career lasting over four decades – that man Neil Warnock!
He’ll be with us to talk about his colourful career that includes stints at 16 clubs – including eight promotions – and quite a few great escapes, most recently when he kept Huddersfield in the Championship against all the odds.
We’re delighted to add that he’ll be joined by a special guest who will be very familiar to Wimbledon supporters. Jack Rudoni, who worked with Neil at Huddersfield, will return to the Dons, to talk about his career since leaving us in 2022.
Speaking about the prospect of coming here in June, Neil Warnock said: “I’m really looking forward to visiting the home of The Dons - a club with such great history and loyal fans.
“I have so much admiration for Wimbledon, especially the character to bounce back, and I remember the club progressing all the way from non league to the Premier League. That’s a wonderful history and legacy to have. I’m delighted that Jack Rudoni will be joining us too. I’m looking forward to a great night - see you all very soon.”
In addition, Neil will share what happened at his last club Aberdeen and he’ll be joined by his long time assistant Ronnie Jepson on stage. Plus, you’ll hear Neil’s thoughts on coming up against some of the biggest managerial names in football, including Sir Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho, Arsene Wenger, Jurgen Klopp, Brian Clough, and Pep Guardiola.
