Vote now! Player of the Year accolades

Have your say on our seven end of season awards

17 April 2024

Though the season is not quite over, it’s time for you to make several difficult decisions – by casting your votes for our Player of the Year awards.

It’s been a much-improved campaign for Johnnie Jackson’s men with the Dons on course for a top half League Two finish and Kevin Foster’s women’s side are on the verge of title glory and long-awaited promotion!

In total, there are SEVEN awards for you to vote on, with details further down this page, and the closing date is Tuesday 23 April at 5 pm.

We’ll then announce the winners at the Walsall home match on Saturday 27 April, which will include an end of season awards party hosted for all supporters in the Viticult Lounge after the game.

The accolades include the prestigious Club Player of the Year Award, with the management team from our men’s and women’s having chosen two players each, nominated for their impacts on and off the pitch.

Below you will find an overview of why the quartet have been chosen, as well as further information on how to vote.

KELLY HIGHMAN

Kelly joined the Dons for the 2018/19 season, and has so far played 140 games for the Club. On the pitch she is the vice-captain, lightning fast, and puts her body on the line for the team. Off the pitch, she uses her experience and leadership qualities to help the club grow, always advocating for ways to improve things for the team and the Club.

ISAAC OGUNDERE

Isaac joined Wimbledon as a youth talent and was the captain for the Under-18s. He made his first-team debut in 2022 and has continued his rapid rise from the academy ranks by making 38 appearances this season. Off the pitch, he has led the way with his community work, showing an attitude that is spot on – he’s a real Wimbledon person.

ASHLEE HINCKS

This is the second time Ashlee has been nominated for Club Player of the Year. But after having scored 113 goals and provided 55 assists (so far) in only three seasons her on and off the pitch leadership has continued to grow from season to season. She continues to use her talent to propel the Club into the future.

JAKE REEVES

This is Jake’s third spell as a Don. After a loan spell in 2012, he was a vital part of the team that got us promoted to League One in 2016. Jake returned to the Dons when the group needed leadership the most and he has shown outstanding leadership skills, also acting as a proud ambassador for the Club in its charity work.
