A busy day for Dons players

Star players attend coaching course

AFC Wimbledon players found time in their busy schedules today to attend the summer holiday courses run by our Community Football Scheme.

Stacy Long, Sammy Moore, Jack Midson and Luke Moore were all high on the list of players wanted for interviews at this afternoon's media day, held after the morning training session at at our New Malden complex. But after fulfilling their media requirements ahead of the new season, all four popped along to Wimbledon Park to make the day of young footballers at the AFC Wimbledon CFS course. They presented prizes to boys and girls, who had played in a mini tournament on the final day of this week's courses. Pim Balkestein, Christian Jolley, Charlie Strutton and Warren Cummings attended last Friday's coaching day.

summer coursesThere are still three weeks to go for the CFS summer holiday courses, which are completely flexible as children can attend for one day or the whole week. The courses are run by qualified coaches with skills sessions, mini tournaments and prizes. For more information, click on
