Curtis Haynes-Brown update

26 August 2012

Left-back is discharged from hospital

We are pleased to confirm that Curtis Haynes-Brown has today been discharged from hospital.

Our new left-back was stretchered off on his debut during yesterday’s defeat at Bradford, but the neck injury he suffered is not as bad as first feared. Curtis was kept in overnight for observation at Bradford Royal Infirmary after suffering concussion, but he is today travelling home, accompanied by our club physio Mike Rayner. Curtis had X-rays to check that there was no fracture of the neck or cheekbone, but no damage had been done apart from heavy bruising.

AFC Wimbledon wish Curtis a speedy recovery and we hope he will be back playing for the club as soon as possible.
