Stunning goal nominated for JPT award

Wimbledon bowed out of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy in gallant fashion at Bristol City and George Francomb’s stunning strike has been nominated for a goal of the round competition.

Five goals have been shortlisted with the winning player receiving a trophy and a chance to be considered for the Ultimate Finish of the Season competition.

There is also a chance for fans to be a winner with everyone who votes for the successful strike entered into a special prize draw with one lucky winner receiving an iPod Shuffle.

The nominations are:

Frank Nouble (COVENTRY v Plymouth)

Aaron Wilbraham (BRISTOL CITY v AFC Wimbledon)

George Francomb (Bristol City v AFC WIMBLEDON)

Jermaine McGlashan (Crawley v GILLINGHAM)

Max Power (Bury v TRANMERE)

The closing date for votes is Wednesday, 3 December.

Johnstone’s Paint has been bringing colour to the beautiful game for the last nine years through its sponsorship of the domestic knockout competition that ends with the reward of a Wembley final.
