Manager hopes to finalise sixth summer signing
Neal Ardley has confirmed that he is in advanced talks with experienced striker Tyrone Barnett about joining AFC Wimbledon.
Following the announcement of Tyrone’s departure from Shrewsbury Town, Neal is aiming to conclude his striker search by finalising a deal for a forward who has also had spells at Peterborough United, Crawley, and Southend United.
AFC Wimbledon have so far made five summers signings with the arrivals of Ryan Clarke, Chris Whelpdale, Dean Parrett, Dominic Poleon and Sean Kelly.
