Manager's thoughts on new signing

30 August 2017

Neal Ardley believes there is plenty more to come from new signing Harry Forrester after his promising debut at Barnet last night.

Wimbledon's new number 11 played for 65 minutes at The Hive, helping the Dons to an entertaining 4-3 Checkatrade Trophy victory.

Speaking during his post-match interview for iFollow, Neal said: "It was everything I've seen from him in training. He has got some lovely touches, some lovely skill. He was a part of all the good stuff in the first 25 minutes, but you could see that he started to feel tired, certainly in the last 15 minutes of the first-half and probably after 15 minutes in the second-half. We know that we've got work to do with him so that we can get him up to speed, but once we get him there he will be a good player for us."

Extended highlights from last night's match at Barnet are now on iFollow, along with Neal's full post-match reaction.
