There has already been an encouraging response to the relaunch of the We Are Wimbledon Fund run by a group of fans.
Supporters have been quick to pledge funds in an effort to make Neal Ardley's squad more competitive for AFC Wimbledon's second season in League One.
Chief Executive Erik Samuelson has written to our fan base about the campaign and supporters should receive his message in the coming days.
Erik said: "I was asked to write to all of our fans requesting their help either by contributing through a deposit or a direct debit. We want to raise funds over the coming season to make sure that we stay in League One so that when we get to our new stadium we are in the best possible position to make the most of it. If you can help us, please do."
The main way for fans to contribute is via a direct debit form from the We Are Wimbledon Fund website. There is an option for supporters to make one-off payments via this form. In the section that says 'Payment Schedule, where it asks for the 'End' date, simply select 'Take certain number of debits' and a new box will open to choose option 1.
