The first night back at Plough Lane!

Your fantastic banners certainly made those in attendance feel at home last night!

On a pivotal occasion for everyone connected with the club - our first home match in Merton for 29 years - fans were unfortunately not able to attend. However, Dons fans from all over the world watched on iFollow and tuned in for the live show on YouTube before and after the game, presented by Terry Gibson, John Scales, and Chris Phillips.

A wonderful array of banners were given to us by our supporters and they made the stadium feel like a real home, plus cardboard cut-outs of our fans were in the stands. The gallery above shows the great collection of banners at the stadium (pics by Matt Redman, Pro Sports Images). It was a proud night for our academy too with five players featuring in last night's game having come through our youth system. Will Nightingale captained the side with Anthony Hartigan, Paul Kalambayi, and Jack Rudoni taking on a Doncaster side that included former Wimbledon academy keeper Joe Bursik.

Glyn said in his post-match interview that he's looking forward to a second homecoming with supporters in attendance - and we can't wait for the right time to welcome you all into the new stadium for real.
