We are delighted to announce that both the Dons Local Action Group and our manager Johnnie Jackson are set to feature on the EFL highlights show this weekend on ITV.
The team from the British media company, headed by presenter Aaron Paul, spent time at the DLAG Hub – just a stone’s throw away from Plough Lane – as they got to meet co-founder Craig Wellstead and the Group’s army of dedicated volunteers.
This provided an insight into how the Group are taking poverty head on with their work, whilst the broadcast will also go a long way towards spreading the word about what AFC Wimbledon is doing for its local community and beyond.
Later in the afternoon our manager was then interviewed at the Cherry Red Records Stadium, as Johnnie and Aaron discussed the story of our football club, the season so far and much more in what was an intriguing interview.
