Post-match with Paris!

Teammates get the views of talented midfielder

Midfielder Paris Maghoma highlighted the importance of being consistent and togetherness, in his post-match interview with a difference after our win at Crawley.

Substitutes Paul Kalambayi and newly committed Paul Osew stopped by the away dugout after their warm-down to get the views of Brentford loanee Paris, who again impressed this afternoon in the 2-0 victory.

“We spoke on Thursday, and we knew Tuesday night’s performance wasn’t good enough as a team,” said Paris in response to Paul Kalambayi. “So, I think today was a positive reaction.

“The lads really tried. We gave our best. We played through the back and created a lot of chances. It’s good to get the win, but its also good to get the clean sheet. The clean sheet means so much. The fans were behind us all the way. It really pushed us and kept us going, they kept us working hard. We must congratulate them for helping us."

“We just need to stay consistent," said Paris. "If we carry on like this, I think we have a real good chance of getting in the play-offs or even promotion. When things don’t go well, we need to stay together and keep pushing.”

Paul Osew is now looking forward to being part of the squad again, having recovered from injury and signed a new two-year contract.

“We’ve been working a lot on keeping that clean sheet,” said Paul. “The work both on and off the pitch is really coming together. I want to praise the boys today - particularly the backline, who were solid, and especially Tans (Nik Tzanev).”
