Our men and women’s first-team players combined with the AFC Wimbledon Foundation on Thursday as we delivered some early Christmas gifts to St George’s Hospital in Tooting – resulting in smiles aplenty!
It’s an event which is always a festive highlight for the club, with the players joining Foundation staff and of course Haydon the Womble as we visited the children’s wards. A whole range of goodies were distributed, including replica shirts, balls and board games to name a few.
Both patients and staff were pleased to meet our team and happily posed for photos which can be viewed in the gallery above.
Above all we were delighted to bring some joy to the Hospital at this time of year and wish to extend our thanks for the visit.
