Loan Watch: A round-up of our players elsewhere

Dylan Adjei-Hersey helped Eastbourne Borough over the line on debut, as the Sussex club claimed all three points at the weekend.

The second-year professional went on loan to Priory Lane in the build-up to their National League South game against Chippenham Town.

Having fallen behind, Eastbourne Borough were back on level terms when Dylan came on for the last thirteen minutes for his debut, in front of a crowd of 777. The hosts sealed victory from the penalty spot four minutes from time and are a point off the play-off places in ninth position.

Defender Luke Jenkins also made his debut for Hampton & Richmond Borough on Saturday. He was named in the starting line-up for the visit to Farnborough and completed the first half for the Beavers before being substituted. The match finished 2-2, with Hampton & Richmond seventeenth in the table.

First-year pro Marcel Campbell started for South Park Reigate in their Isthmian South Central game at leaders Northwood. The attacking midfielder played for 70 minutes of their notable 2-0 away win.

Noe Vendrells, our former Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, scored the second goal. Vice-captain Seanan McKillop, a member of our FA Youth Cup side that recorded memorable victories at Watford and Newcastle in 2015/16, took on an interim management role for the Sparks in the run up to the match.

In the same division, defender Ben Mason missed Basingstoke Town’s impressive 8-0 thrashing of Guernsey due to illness. The Hampshire club are now up to third in the standings with South Park Reigate in sixth position.

Striker Aaron Cosgrave was back on the bench for Southend United. The Shrimpers have slipped to sixth in the National League table, but Aaron did come on for the final eight minutes as a substitute in the two-all draw with Altrincham at Roots Hall.

Striker Zach Robinson (hamstring) missed Dundee’s 1-0 win at Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Championship. The match did bring together two former AFC Wimbledon Academy graduates and teammates on opposing sides though.

Dundee captain Ryan Sweeney earned bragging rights over Caley forward George Oakley, with the Dee now second in the table and a point off top spot as they bid to return to the Scottish top-flight.
