Our stunning film to honour Black History Month has already made national headlines.
“Black, Yellow & Blue” received its premiere at the club on Thursday evening and now you can view this powerful and moving hour-long documentary on our official YouTube channel.
The new film documents the experience of black players, fans and staff at the club in their own words from the 1970s to the present day. It features interviews with Tony White, the first black player to play for Wimbledon, and also Francis Joseph and Carlton Fairweather.
The landmark documentary from filmmaker Carlo Rossi, who was also behind “Farewell Kingsmeadow”, was directed by Ian Stephen.
