Our Foundation is seeking a new recruit for their friendly team with the aim of building upon its excellent work in the local community.
AFC Wimbledon last season received the EFL Community Club of the Year award and our Foundation has developed a series of key girls and women’s sessions within its work programmes over the past five years.
With this in mind, our Foundation is aiming to appoint a Female Football Development Officer. Our Foundation has strong links with our Women’s first-team and AFCW girls teams, so part of the role will be to explore further links and partnership work across the Wimbledon family.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have at least two years’ experience of working in a community football or sports development role, holding an FA Level 2 coaching qualification, and be educated academically to Level 3 or 4.
Living locally and having a good understanding of the local sports development and education environment would be an advantage.
