Fans, players and staff came together last night for our annual Kit Sponsors’ Dinner, on what was a memorable evening.
Our squad was on hand to sign autographs, answer questions and pose for selfies with attendees before everyone was treated to the delights of a roast dinner with all the trimmings.
Johnnie Jackson then gave a speech, thanking our supporters for their dedication throughout what has been a testing season.
Here is a selection of our favourite images from the night and some quotes from sponsors who attended at Plough Lane.
Alex Feehley said: “It’s nice to see the players and see their human side. You get to know what they’re really like as people.”
Anne-Marie Godfrey said: “It’s good to see the players off the pitch and being themselves. It reminds you that we’re one unit that needs to stick together. I’ve always been a sock sponsor but for the last two seasons I’ve moved up to kit.”
Geoff Hutchins said: “Nathan Broome has been great with us this evening, its been good to discuss his recent performances. It’s nice to see all the players and staff in a relaxed atmosphere.”
Toni Shepard said: “Will Nightingale is a really good guy, he always answers our questions as best he can. It’s been great seeing him progress over time. Sponsoring a player allows you to make a contribution and as a bonus you get to have a nice dinner with the squad.”
