The Dons extended our unbeaten run across all competitions to three yesterday as we picked up a point against Salford City.
Although a point and clean sheet on the road is not to be sniffed at, there will certainly be a collective feeling that one point could have easily been three as Wimbledon dominated for long periods.
In the end we failed to take our chances on a day when we were also defensively solid against a side that possesses one of Sky Bet League Two’s top scorers.
Though there will be a tinge of disappointment after not getting the win, this performance can be seen as another step in the right direction as we remain in the top seven.
