Aaron Pierre is firmly focused on building a winning mentality at Wimbledon after his switch from Sutton United.
Boasting a record of close to 300 Football League appearances, the powerful centre-back is raring to go as we bid to extend our unbeaten run tomorrow against Leyton Orient.
“I was delighted to get the move completed,” he said. “I’ve played against Wimbledon a few times over the years, so I know what we’re capable of. There’s also been previous players who have played for the club which have only said great things.

“I wanted to be a part of things here and push for the play-offs at the very least. I’ve played against and alongside a number of the lads, I feel like part of the family already.”
A former player of the year during his time at both Northampton and Shrewsbury Town, our new defender knows how to make a big impression.
Asked what Dons fans can expect from him moving forward, Aaron was straight to the point with his answer.
“A lot of aggression! I like to be dominant and commanding. There’s nothing better than joining a team which is not only on the same wave length as you but also has the same mentality. I’ve already seen the never-say-die attitude that exists here.”
