Johnnie Jackson is relishing the chance to see our side put their hard work into practice as the Dons prepare to take on Reading this morning.
Our first pre-season friendly of the 2023/24 campaign is set to kick-off at 10am UK time (11am CET) as we look to round off a week of training in style on our tour of Spain.
Ahead of the game at the Estadi Olímpic Camilo Cano, Johnnie has reflected on the week so far, offering his thoughts on training regimes, squad cohesion, the return of Armani Little and our meet and greet with fans.

“We’ve had a blinding week. We’ve got some unbelievable work done. We couldn’t ask for anything better in terms of the facilities – we’d like to thank Omnia Group Services for sponsoring our tour,” said Johnnie. “It’s been good to get everyone together, including the new lads.
“We’ve had double pitch sessions every day, fitness sessions, tactical sessions – we feel like we’ve really made the most of it and now we’re looking forward to the game. Everyone that’s fit will play a part. The attitude to the hard work is what’s pleased me most about the boys.”
