The football icons will be taking centre stage in our Viticult Lounge, bringing with them a treasure trove of captivating football stories. From the iconic Manchester United era to the managerial successes, expect an evening filled with laughter, insight and nostalgia.

Both Steve and Alan have become regulars at the Cherry Red Records Stadium, Plough Lane.

STEVE COPPELL: A MANCHESTER UNITED LEGEND

Steve Coppell, is a Manchester United legend. He represented the club in 322 games between 1975 and 1983, leaving an indelible mark on the club’s history. His career extended to representing England with 42 caps, including the 1982 World Cup. he went on to manage clubs such as Crystal Palace, Manchester City, Reading, Brighton, Bristol City and Brentford.

ALAN SMITH: A MANAGERIAL MAESTRO

Alan Smith began his coaching career under Allen Batsford at Wimbledon and then Dulwich Hamlet before becoming Steve’s assistant at Crystal Palace. Smith’s managerial stint at Palace saw him lead the team to the First Division title. His influence also extended to working with Kevin Keegan at Fulham and collaborating with Gareth Southgate at Middlesborough.
