AFC Wimbledon’s 2024 was kickstarted in style on Saturday as a late winner saw us dramatically defeat Mansfield Town on home turf.
Omar Bugiel made a goalscoring return to action following his Asian Cup exploits with Lebanon before Ronan Curtis popped up with a winning goal in the 97th minute to take all three points.
It proved to be the perfect end to a day that included an extensive tribute to the much-loved Mick Pugh and a visit from the fans of Boca Juniors.
