Akinfenwa added! Bid for your shirt now

Auction boosted with new items

9 April 2024

Our bid to raise funds for War Child has reached new heights after the one and only Adebayo Akinfenwa added his signed shirt into the mix on MatchWornShirt!

Designed by Warm & Wonderful, the eye-catching ‘black sheep’ design, which hit the Guardian fashion pages, has become a real collector’s item after being worn by our players against Harrogate Town on Good Friday. The match worn shirts from the game itself are also available to own.

We’ve also further expanded the range of options with the additions of four unsigned player issue shirts which were unused in the game.

LODGE YOUR BIDS BY HEADING OVER TO OUR OFFICIAL AUCTION PAGE. THE CLOSING DATE FOR OUR AUCTION IS SATURDAY 13 APRIL!

We’ve now added Bayo’s name to the wide array of limited edition celebrity-signed pieces, with the ‘Beast’ featuring alongside other names such as Ted Lasso star Phil Dunster, Wimbledon’s 1988 FA Cup-winning captain Dave Beasant and award-winning author John Green.

Our auction has already raised over £7,500 at the time of writing, with all proceeds going directly to our two charities, War Child and AFC Wimbledon Foundation.

These in turn have added to one signed by our Men’s management team - with Johnnie Jackson, Terry Skiverton, Rob Tuvey and Ashley ‘Bayzo’ Bayes all adding their own personal touches. Plus a shirt signed by our promotion-chasing Women’s first-team squad.

From signed individual shirts to a replica of Dave’s FA Cup final walkout jacket, there’s something for people of all ages – there’s under four days to go, so get your bids in now to avoid disappointment!
